Simcity4 vista compatibility

Windows 7 Application Compatibility. Sign in to vote. This is probably a long shot and I prob will have to give up on this game but has anybody got SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition to run on Windows 7? The program has installed properly however it does not seem to load, it freezes on its loading image and does not actually go into the game.

Wednesday, January 28, AM. I've tried a combination of compatibility mode and run as administrator. I'm guessing the game is not comptabile with x64 in general did a dual boot of vista x64 and win7 x64 and does not run on both OSes.
