I definitely felt the energetic flow through my body, and I loved the music. I look forward to trying Ali s other classes. Lovely class with an emphasis on a facet of yoga that is often neglected in the name of athleticism: gentle energy movement through the body with calm, measured flow.
Thank you. Other reviews mentioned difficulty following Ali s cues, and I also got a little lost in places. Nevertheless instead of focusing on imperfections, I reveled in a nourishing flow that was very accessible and had sequences that were unfamiliar and enjoyable. Stay with the big picture and the energy and don t focus on details! I agree with others that it is very difficult to know which side I m supposed to be facing. The flow is ok pace for morning, it is a wake up series so getting your body moving but it was too confusing otherwise.
No, this was a short class and I know its vinyasa but it felt rushed to me. Not sure if this is the teachers style, as I have done other classes with other instructors, this unfortunately doesn t measure up. Did not like the instruction at all. Helen, Sometimes it s hard to feel the energy at first, but thank you for trying the class! I wanted a nice, short flow on this rainy Sunday morning. This was a perfect choice - Ali is a great teacher.
Leslie, Thank you for trying the class. I am so glad you liked it! This one really wasn t for me. Many times I had no idea which side I was supposed to be facing or which knee I was bending.

This was lovely, relaxing, helped me release tension and re-align my body and mind at the end of the day.

I think the rating should be for the class itself, seems like you re having a technical problem. You ll probably need to contact another way to resolve your issue. Great class for before bed or anytime your energy is low. She works in some gentle twists, sidebends, and hip stretches.
